River Watch sent a notice of intent to file suit in Federal District Court against the City of Ukiah for failure to comply with the conditions and limitations of its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System. River River Watch had notified the City of Ukiah of its concerns of levels of pollutants leaking from damaged and aging sew lines underground into adjacent waterways that eventually drain into the Russian River.
